Specialities include business adaption/transition/innovation including creating new revenue/profit streams through partnering, M&A, organic expansion and successful global models. Payments Industry adviser and international (keynote) conference speaker. Active investment & board interests in Blockchain and Crypto.

 

Gareth Bailey, CFO & CCO
Gareth is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Prior to joining PayX, Gareth headed up the governance and finance function for the IT and Logistics department for Marks and Spencer plc. He has worked in IT for the past 13 years, including at VeriFone as the EMEA CFO. Gareth brings strong commercial acumen to PayX combined with best practice and strong leadership skills. Gareth has over 20 years experience as a Chartered Accountant.

 

Steve Lomax, COO
Steve has 25+ years senior payments experience in strategy, product development and business development for schemes, processors, financial institutions and industry suppliers. Multi-national and multi-cultural experience gained through working over 13 years outside UK, including USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Japan & Saudi Arabia

 

Ashish Kulpati, Chief Product Officer
Ashish has 25+ years experience in business and partner development, product management, strategic projects and client management. He is an expert in bringing new products to life – from idea to commercialisation in varied markets globally managing cross-functional teams. Before joining PayX he built strategy and executed large complex projects, new billing initiatives and P&L transformations for Visa and Amex. He has a track record of innovation and thought leadership with 10+ granted patents.

 

Matthew Harrod, SVP, Business Development
Matt has 20 years experience in Payment Acceptance focusing on product development and commercial go to market strategies. Before joining PayX he had various commercial and product development roles for banks and payment businesses including Lloyds Bank, First Data and Ingenico working domestically in UK, Holland, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Iceland and Bulgaria.

 

Rob Walter, Senior Management Consultant
Rob is an experienced and forward thinking Director focused on developing innovative solutions, go-to-market strategies and bringing together new partnerships across Payments, Financial Services and FinTech. Bringing an extensive network to PayX, he is focused on defining end-to-end sales strategies, identifying gaps in existing business operations, and delivering solutions for omni-channel clients including Business Development, Sales, Key Client Management and Customer Centricity.

 

Tony Fekete, Business Development
Tony is a Senior Banking, Cards and Fuel Marketing industry professional with over 25 years experience. His career spans International Board and General Manager level roles. With a huge network of contacts, he is responsible for the development of business for PayX in the CEE region.

 

Rod Nixon, Director, Management Consultancy
Rod has over 25 years experience in payments strategy, business development & product management. Before joining PayX he was Head of Product teams at Visa, MasterCard & Product Manager at First Data. He brings a wealth of commercial, business and technical experience at UK, European and global levels particularly in the areas of merchant acceptance, client management, new product development and EMV implementation in Europe from outset to maturity.

 

Kevin Coles, Senior Payments Management Consultant
Kevin is an experienced and forward thinking director operating in the payments market the developing fintech and digital arenas as well as the wider commercial retail business growth areas. He brings to PayX expertise in strategy development, P&L management and Business Development with a realistic approach to regulation and compliance and offers distinctive views and guidance to growth, SME and corporate enterprises.

Andrew Douglas, ex-CEO, Barts and The London Charity (B+TLC)
Andrew was appointed Chief Executive of Barts and The London Charity (B+TLC) in May 2007 to build and implement a strategic and operational framework.  Andrew enjoyed a thirty year career in banking and investment banking both in the UK and overseas. Operating at Board level, has specialised in spearheading ‘change management’ issues leading to the restructuring, refinancing and sale of a state owned Bank, rationalisation of an international payments business, and overseeing a major global regulatory programme involving international regulators and representation on industry boards.

 

Matt Fletcher
Matt has worked in the Financial Services IT industry for over 30 years. During that he has worked at all levels in the industry, including design, development, Project management, Head of IT Architecture, Head of IT Research, Head of IT Operations, Head of IT Security and Compliance and Head of IT Service management. As well as delivering major IT change projects, he was also instrumental in developing IT Strategic plans, achieving SOX compliance, operational cost reductions and delivery of ITIL Certification to ISO2000 Standard across three organisational geographies. He has broad leadership and management experience, having operated at Board level, and managed both specialist teams and large operational teams. He is currently working as independent adviser to a number of international IT companies.
